Behavioral Health Programs
Substance Abuse: Alcoholism, drug dependence and addiction, known as substance abuse disorders are complex problems that many members of our society face today. In our workshop you will learn how substances effect our lives financially, socially and physically. (1 hour)

 Problem Gambling: Problem gambling–or gambling addiction–includes all gambling behavior patterns that compromise, disrupt or damage personal, family or vocational pursuits. This overview will highlight  the warning signs of problem gambling in adults and youth. (1 hour)

 Understanding Anger: Anger is a naturally occurring human emotion, felt by all people. This series offers opportunities for participants to develop direct, effective  skills to deal with anger in themselves and others. (7 Sessions/2hrs each)

Healthy Relationships: The series aids participants in clarifying and asserting personal standards and increasing capacity to understand others. (7 Sessions/ 2hrs each)

 Respectful Workplace: This workshop series provides participants with the basic tools needed to interact in the workplace in a way that respects their individual rights as well as the rights of others. (6 Sessions/1.5hrs each)

Physical Health Programs
Nibble and Network: Participants prepare nutritious , delicious meals in teams, from scratch. Facilitated by our Prevention Specialists, this is a marvelous opportunity to try dragon fruit, kiwi berries while mastering the mysteries of yeasted Stromboli. (One or more sessions/2.5hrs each)

Walk and Talk: Enjoy physical exercise, while practicing and discussing stress management techniques and other topics facilitated by our Prevention Specialists. Walk and Talks range from a leisurely stroll to a light workout. (One or more sessions/1 hour each)

Mental Health Programs
Mental Health First Aid: Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance abuse problem. (2 sessions/ 4hrs each)

QPR–Question Persuade and Refer: This 1 hour course will teach you how to Question, Persuade and Refer someone who may be suicidal, the common causes of suicidal behavior, the warning signs of suicide and how to get help for someone in crisis.

safeTALK: safeTALK is a half-day alertness training that prepares anyone over the age of 15, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper. safeTALK-trained helpers can recognize warning signs and take action by connecting people with life-saving intervention resources.

Managing Stress: Everyone experiences stress, but when it goes unmanaged, daily stress can harm your health and reduce your quality of life. Fortunately, stress doesn’t have to overcome or overwhelm you. Gain control and live better when you attend one of our stress management workshops. (1 or more sessions/ 1 hour each)
